Constructed from 12 Japanese PE fibres woven around a strong central core, Hyperglide® is a very smooth, 13 carrier braid that retains its roundness.
This round structure delivers less friction and a better shaped line off the spool, which allows for more distance in each cast.
It also means less drag as it sinks down through the water column, giving improved lure presentation and a higher level of sensitivity.
With a range starts at ultra fine PE 0.4 (8lb) and topping out at a sturdy PE 8.0 (80lb), Hyperglide® 13x Braid is suitable for a range of fishing styles and target species.
Hyperglide® is ideal for a range of fishing styles in both salt and fresh water. The 8lb, 10lb and 12lb weights are ideal for targeting trout, salmon, squid and bream. The lighter weight braids deliver the casting distance needed to reach your target, and a high level of sensitivity to keep you connected to your tackle and fish. The ‘Tekapo Blue’ colour is ideal for these easily spooked species.
If you’re fishing with lures, softbaits or baits, or casting off the beach or bricks, targeting bigger species like snapper, Australian salmon and jewfish; then heavier 16lb, 20lb and 30lb weights are ideal. Hyperglide® offers a good level of abrasion resistance, and delivers long, accurate casts to your target.
When you’re topwater casting, chasing bigger species like kingfish, tuna and giant trevally, the 50lb and 80lb weights are ideal. The long, accurate casting ability of Hyperglide® will help your lure or bait stay in the hit zone for longer, giving you a better chance of enticing the bite.
