Whether you’re an experienced angler or a beginner, we provide everything you need for a successful fishing trip, including rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses. Our charter boat comfortably accommodates up to six passengers and is equipped with all essential amenities, ensuring a convenient and enjoyable outing.

Our Goal

Our goal for Helen’s Fishing Charters is to create a fun, educational, and memorable fishing experience for whānau, friends, locals and domestic & international visitors. Fishing has long been a sacred and practical part of Māori culture, blending spiritual significance, community connection, and sustainability. We want to reflect on these values in my business by sharing the history and importance of fishing while offering an enjoyable and rewarding experience on the water.

Your day begins aboard our Saltwater fishing Boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with dead bait.

The charter boat covers your fishing license. Just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. There will be coffee and tea on the boat for you, and feel free to bring your favourite drinks. Catering can be ordered for enjoyment during the trip.
